The journey into parenthood is a special and exciting time, but it's easy to become overwhelmed with the amount of information available. And you are most likely wondering which sources you can trust? It's also fair to say that with services being stretched, continuity of care lacking and support and education at a minimum, private services are desperately needed. Not only to help families navigate this special time, but to support the improved outcomes we know the care during this time in life should provide. So how can we help make your experience exactly what you deserve?

The care provided is entirely bespoke and completely centred around your needs and the experience you want to have as a family. We support the modern day family taking a full body holistic approach to your care, focusing on emotional, physical, spiritual and cultural needs and beliefs, ensuring we can care for you in the nurturing way you deserve.

The Specialist Midwife believes in equipping parents and families with a full breadth of evidence based information surrounding pregnancy, birth, the postnatal period and parenting in the early daysand weeks with baby. Empowering those in our care to make informed decisions during this time really is at the forefront of our service, ensuring that we are there to support your choices with compassion and understanding.

We like to provide a positive and personal experience for our families, which is why we strongly promote continuity of care. Not only because it helps to build a trusting relationship, but because it has been proven to lead to better outcomes and safety for birthing people and their baby's. We also know this is the single biggest request of women and new families, something which can not often be provided locally.

We truly believe that support is crucial, and really do focus on being there for you outside of appointment and visit times.  Supporting families with the transition to parenting, focusing on educating around baby’s early developmental needs as well as understanding the body's recovery process is at the forefront of our care. Intensive support in the first few days and up to 4 weeks really is known to reduce the likelihood of postnatal depression, improve recovery times and increase breastfeeding rates and longevity, with evidence showing us it can determine better outcomes for the whole family.

As a result of our expert care we believe families can enjoy a more fulfilling experience, enhanced recovery and a stronger foundation in mental and physical health and well-being for themselves and their babies.

Personalised face to face care at home, supporting families across the Midlands, Warwickshire and London with online access available nationally and internationally.
